About Aneta

 

Aneta Ježková (Prague, CZ) is an authorial photographer focusing on the visual relationship between people and their environment. Her work combines elements of documentary and staged photography, often exploring themes of everyday life, urban architecture, and female identity.

Her imagery is characterized by minimalist aesthetics, sensitive use of color, and a disciplined visual language that creates space for silence and interpretation. Her photographs have been featured in exhibitions and competitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and she continues to develop two parallel lines of work — authorial visual series and poetic street photography.

• 2020 – Solo exhibition Everyday Prague at Praga Studios (in collaboration with Skanska)

• 2024 – 3rd place in the monthly selection of Sony World Photography Awards

• 2024 – Selected by the curators of @outofthephotos2 on Instagram

• 2025 - In 2025, Aneta was nominated in the international 1839 Awards in the Minimalism (Non-professional) category. Her photograph was selected among the official nominees, recognized by the curators for its artistic quality and vision.
